Viviana’s philosophy:
My responsibility as an Early Childhood educator is to promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of each child. Considering that each child is unique and develops at their own individual pace, as well as coming from families which have their own beliefs and values, will help construct their own identity.
I believe that play should be the base of learning, since children learn best by doing. For me the best way to teach a child is to guide them in a positive manner; I feel that children should have an organised, clean and safe environment to meet in. It should be a place where children can be engaged in learning through interacting with things around them.
Children need to have lessons using exploratory play, guided discovery, problem solving, demonstrations and direct instruction.
